Celebrate with Ukrainians, their Church and culture, especially their singing, icons and a Christmas Feast. Learn about the Byzantine liturgy during a special 1/2 hr presentation

Encourage Susan L. and fellow younger church members to form their own faith group.
Give and receive a sense of Christian solidarity. (We will make a small donation for their group start-up a - Christmas present from us - Catholic Cafe)
A rare special event - I tried to organise this for twice before. I'm inviting my friends, brothers and sisters nephews and nieces. Schedule of Events - Put this in your calendar 9:45-10:15 1/2hr Special Presentation with guidance on the liturgy by Susan L. including how to follow in the missal & hymnal. The presentation room can only seat 30 - this will be on a first come first serve basis.
10:30-11:45 Divine Liturgy (Byzantine Rite) This the mass of by St. John Chrysostom, Church Father and Doctor of the Church
12:00-3:00 Traditional Ukrainian Christmas Feast
Please bring $20 cash only in small denominations- $15 for dinner costs and suggested $5 for a donation to their new group start-up funding. I'll find out about family rates. Please let me know that you are coming so that the cooks can accommodate you by January 7.

Directions: Located in the center of Vancouver, near City Hall (12th and Cambie). Travelling either North or South on Cambie, turn West on 14th Avenue and proceed one block to the entrance. [Be warned. Driving up and down Cambie is difficult with the skytrain being built. Frequently, left or right turns are not permitted.]
